These are control Characters, in the output file, probably you are looking at the output in a viewer window, if you print the report, it will be all right. These control characters are given for formatting purposes.

Mahesh,

But I want to use this report to save to a file and then send to BANK. Is there any other solution for this.

As you said, it is printing correctly.

The font it is taking is "Lubricatypewriter".
Can you tell me which font or size or... will avoid this... ???

Thanks,
-Bharathi

Try specifying a printer style which uses a driver with no init or reset strings, and no SRW driver.

VETS - 100 Reports

Subject: HR - Vets 100 Reporting

We are currently in the process of setting up Vets-100 reporting in Oracle HR. HR has the following quick code values (Us_veteran_status): Disabled Veteran, Disabled Vietnam Veteran, Not a Veteran, Veteran, Vietnam Veteran.

Our customer would like to see the following values based on the government reporting form/application:

* Special Disabled Veteran
* Vietnam Era Veteran
* Other Eligible Veteran
* Not a veteran
* Combination of the above statuses
* Special Disabled Veteran and Vietnam Era Veteran
* Special Disabled Veteran and Other Eligible Veteran
* Vietnam Era Veteran and Other Eligible Veteran

Other Eligible Veteran will be a reporting requirement for the year 2000 reporting. Oracle currently has not addressed the "other eligible veteran" status.

Has anyone come across the same issue? How has this been resolved?
