Changes to Attributes not reflected in Self Service

Subject: HR Self Service Workflow
Hi, my client is trying to use the HR Self Service Workflow in 11.0.2.
Please see the following question....
They are trying to make a change to the dept email id attribute and also
to some attributes under the Personal Information function - they can
save the changes back to the workflow, but the changes are not reflected
in the Self Service apps. The problem has been reported to Oracle
Support and they are working on it, but the Oracle analyst is not
familiar with workflow and the self service apps. So, it may take him
awhile to figure it out. Any help will be appreciated.
