Resource requirement in Number of Units

In Oracle Capacity, the resource requirement and availability are given in
hours. Is there any way we can get them in number of units of a item to be
produced?

Platform: 10.7 NCA on HP-UX 10.20.
User entered approx. 15 items yesterday to an existing Bill of Resources.
When he came in today, these records are not there. We have had no database
problems or restores. Any known bugs or rollback problems?
